‘Technicolor Dreamcoat’ will be fall musical at Tabor College

The Tabor College music and drama departments are busy preparing for the upcoming performances of the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

The musical, written by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is lively portrayal of the biblical Joseph story.

Judy Harder, associate professor of communications and drama, and Brad Vogel, associate director of choral music, will direct the cast and crew. Talashia Yoder will choreograph the musical and Arlo Kasper will design the set.

Joseph will be played by Jeremy Jordan, Hillsboro, and the Narrator will be portrayed by Jodi Warkentin, Wichita.

Additional male cast members are: Todd Harper, Reedley, Calif.; Roman Hofer, Newton; Brad Just, Hillsboro; James Onijala, Wichita; Casey Reece, Hillsboro; Jonathan Regier, Hillsboro; Josh Tolle, Inman; Landon Tucker, Wichita; Trenton Voth, Halstead; Brett Womack, Wichita; and Michael Woods, Wichita.

Additional female cast members are: Jillian Brown, Minneapolis; Melissa Hochstetler, Shickley, Neb.; Jennifer Hope, McPherson; Lisa Loewen, Carpenter, S.D.; Becky Lutes, Wichita; Rachel Pederson, Cimarron; and Talashia Yoder, Hesston.

Performances will take place during homecoming weekend, Oct. 16-19 in the Tabor College Chapel-Auditorium. The Oct. 16-18 performances begin at 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday performance will begin at 2 p.m.

All seats are reserved and seating is limited.

Tickets are now on sale. Prices are $8 for general seating and $6 for students.
