Sara Janzen and Paul Raugust were married July 11 at Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in Hesston with Rod Jost officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Susan Janzen of Hillsboro. The groom is the son of Barry and Diana Raugust of Wichita.
Matron of honor was Audrey Koehn of Manhattan, and best man was Brandon Walter of Wichita, both friends of the couple.
Bridesmaid was Kathleen Stagg of Houston, friend of the couple. Personal attendant was Regan Unruh of Tulsa, cousin of the bride.
Groomsman was James Fisher of Wichita, friend of the couple.
Ushers were Jesse Janzen of Hillsboro, brother of the bride; Craig Penner of Wichita, cousin of the groom; and Brian Goentzel of Wichita, friend of the couple.
Guestbook attendants were Cara Penner of Wichita, cousin of the groom and Iva Werth of Hutchinson, friend of the couple.
Musicians were Kathleen Stagg, Jesse Janzen, Ryan Kelly, Kellen Monette and Nathaniel Ross.
The reception followed the ceremony and was hosted by Jim and Mandi Janzen, brother and sister-in-law of the bride; and Tonya and Jeff Bronleewe, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.
A graduate of Hillsboro High School in 2000, the bride attended Tabor College and is a student at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy.
The groom graduated from Wichita Northwest High School in 1999 and Tabor College in 2003. He is a paraeducator at Lawrence High School in Lawrence and manages Naismith Place Apartments, also in Lawrence.
A rehearsal luncheon was hosted by the groom’s parents and held at the Water’s Edge in Hesston.
Following a honeymoon in Eureka Springs, Ark., the couple resides in Lawrence.
