Marjorie Endres, 72

Marjorie L. Endres, 72, bank teller and librarian, died Aug. 24 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, at St. Mark’s Church, Holy Family Parish in Marion with fathers Steve Gronert and Paul Oborny officiating. Burial will be a Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Florence.

She was born Aug. 24, 1931, to Herman and Helen (Nightingale) Androes in Wichita. On July 3, 1964, she was married to George Endres, who predeceased her in 2002.

She is survived by one son, Joe Endres of Emporia; six daughters, Sharon Andes of Galva, Donna Dearmore of Overland Park, Patricia Hajek of Houston, Mary Haagenson of Sioux Falls, S.D., Ruth Smith of Wichita and Lori Kirkpatrick of Peabody; one brother, William Androes of Hiawasse, Ark.; one sister, Marcella Travis of Douglas; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Victory in the Valley, the Marion City Library and St. Marks Church, Holy Family Parish.
