The covered-dish lunch is planned for noon, Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Senior Center. Prior to lunch, the Senior Center Post Office will be open at 11 a.m., and Harris Zafar, Wichita audiologist, will be available at 11:15 a.m. After lunch, the Pat Nuss team will present a program about estate sales.
Men’s Coffee is on the calendar starting at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at the Senior Center. Coffee, games, conversation treats and goodies are planned for all who attend.
The August birthday dinner will be held at noon, Monday, Aug. 25, at the Senior Center. The first half of the video “Shepherd of the Hills” will be shown following the meal. The last half of the video will be shown on Tuesday, Aug. 26. The video was taken from the presentation of the same name in Branson, Mo.
Games, gab and goodies will fill the afternoon schedule on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the Senior Center. The video “Food Safety for Seniors” will be viewed immediately following the meal.
Those who volunteered their time at the Senior Center last week were the following:
