Fetrows to celebrate 60th anniversary

Harry M. and Betty (Wilson) Fetrow will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at the Florence Senior Center in Florence.

The couple were married June 10, 1943, at Quale Memorial Church in Kansas City.

Harry has worked as a farmer and rancher in rural Cedar Point. Betty taught school for 27 years and after retirement, she has been learning to paint watercolors.

The open house will be hosted by the couple’s children, Judy and Bob Muessig of Mooresville, Ind., Carol and Don Mason of Rose Hill, Denise Fetrow of Chicago, Bruce Fetrow of Cedar Point, and Robert and Bonnie Fetrow of Wichita. The couple has seven grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited, and the couple request no gifts. Cards may be sent to Route 1, Box 132, Cedar Point.
