Ewert, Edwards to wed May 10

Gene and Kathy Ewert of Neodesha, Steve and Linda Edwards of Emporia and Tenney and Carol Smith of Kansas City announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Tia Ewert and Nathan Edwards.

Grandparents of the couple are Doris Ewert of Marion and the late Harold Ewert, Harry and Vi Swank of Sebring, Fla., Lillie Rohrbach of Langhorne, Pa., Donald and Edna Coldsmith of Emporia and the late Barbara Rasperger.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Neodesha High School. She is enrolled as a junior majoring in elementary education at Emporia State University.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Emporia High School and earned a degree in elementary education from Emporia State University. He is employed with Christian Challenge, a student organization at ESU.

The couple will be married May 10 at Flint Hills Christian Church in Emporia.
