Tabor to host regional high school music festival April 5

High school students will be competing for high marks on the Tabor College campus April 5 during the annual regional music festival. Students will compete in instrumental and vocal events.

Bradley Vogel, associate professor of choral music, is managing the event. Caryl Wiebe, music department secretary, and Kaylene Unruh, administrative assistant to the vice president for student development, are co-supervising the festival.

Class 1A, 2A and 3A high schools invited to participate include Alma-Wabaunsee, Brookville-Ell-Saline, Burrton, Canton-Galva, Berean Academy, Eskridge-Mission Valley, Herington, Hesston, Hillsboro, Hope, Hutchinson Central Christian, Inman, St. Xavier, Centre, Marion-Florence, Peabody-Burns, Sacred Heart and Solomon.
