Leroy and Nancy Schmidt of rural Hillsboro and Donald and Tina Sieberns of Des Moines, Iowa, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Allison Schmidt and Robert Sieberns.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Goessel High School and is employed as a florist.
The groom-to-be is a 1992 graduate of Lincoln High School in Des Moines.
He earned a degree in auto technology from Pittsburg State University in 1996 and an associate degree in agriculture business from Fort Scott Community College in 1998. He is employed as an auto technician.
The couple will be married August 9 at Goessel Mennonite Church.
