Allen J. and Leona (Wiens) Funk of Hillsboro will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 9, at the First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro.
The couple were married March 9, 1943, and lived in the Hillsboro area most of their married life.
The event will be hosted by their family, Lester and Donna Funk of Marion; Larry and Brenda Funk, Delbert Funk, Ron and Donna Funk, Dan and Jeanette Schaefer, all of Hillsboro; Lee and Joyce Ediger of Moundridge; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited, and the couple requests no gifts.
