The Hillsboro High School junior varsity boys’ team kept its season record unblemished at 17-0 Saturday by beating Berean Academy in the championship game of the Hillsboro Junior Varsity Tournament, 63-44, at Brown Gymnasium. Sophomore Eric Weinbrenner scored 20 points to lead the Trojans and junior Aaron Yoder added 14. The Trojans made it to the finals by defeating Herington in the opening round Feb. 8, 84-29. Later that same day they beat Hesston, 54-44, in the semifinals.
