Wayne and Linda Friesen, Walter Thiessen and Pam Ratzlaff, all of Hillsboro, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Carissa Friesen and Anthony Thiessen.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Hillsboro High School and earned a degree in nursing from Hesston College in 2000. She is employed in the intensive-care unit at Memorial Hospital in McPherson.
The groom-to-be is a 1996 graduate of Hillsboro High School and is employed at Excel Industries Inc. in Hesston.
The couple will be married May 17 at the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
