Tabor drops pair to Bethany

The Tabor Bluejay women were defeated 62-55 by the third ranked Bethany Swedes Saturday in Lindsborg.



Tabor trailed 32-26 at the half, and kept it close until Bethany hit Tabor with a 13-0 run with 9:00 to play.



Tabor battled back to get within six, but that was as close as Tabor would get.



Casey Stucky paced Tabor with 15, and Rachelle Wertenberger added 11.



With the loss, Tabor drops to 11-11 overall, and 6-6 in the KCAC.



The Tabor men led Bethany 36-29 at half time, but couldn’t hold the lead, and lost 79-70.



Bethany pounded Tabor on the boards 43-24.



Bethany hit 23-28 free throws, while Tabor could only manage 15-25.



Tyson Ratzlaff led Tabor with 23, while Micah Ratzlaff had 12, and Cody Schafer added 11.



Dustin Hildebrand poured in 32 to lead Bethany.



With the loss, Tabor falls to 12-9 overall, and 7-5 in the KCAC.
