Tabor sweeps Friends

Coach Rusty Allens Bluejay women defeated Friend Saturday night in Wichita, 56-44.



LaTasha Townsend led Tabor with 10. In all, ten Bluejay players scored in the game.



Defense keyed the victory, as Tabor strangled the Falcon offense, allowing only 23 percent shooting for Friends.



With the win, the Bluejays record evens at 9-9 overall, and 4-4 in the KCAC.



The Tabor men made it six in a row, with a 68-56 win.



All-American Micah Ratzlaff paced the Bluejays with 23. Once again, Ratzlaff had the long range artillery working, hitting 6-8 from the three point stripe.



Tabor connected on 48 percent of their shots, compared to only 23 percent for the host Falcons.



With the victory, Tabor improves their record to 10-7, and 5-3 in the KCAC.
