Tabor splits pair in Tabor Classic

The Tabor women trailed the Langston Lions by 15 early in the second half, before rallying to tie the score at 60-60 with just over a minute to play. Langston was able to connect on a charity toss with less than one second remaining in the game for the one point victory.



Casey Stucky had a huge night scoring 17 points and also grabbed 17 rebounds to lead Tabor.



Once again, Tabor shot the ball poorly, hitting only 38% of their shots from the field, but gave themselves a chance to win by committing only 10 turnovers in the contest.



With the loss, Tabor drops to 6-7.



The Tabor men jumped out to an early lead, 13-2 and maintained their lead at the half, 36-30.



The second half was tight until Tabor built a nine point lead with just under three minutes to play. Hastings then cut the lead to just one, barely a minute later, but Tabor was able to hang on for the six point victory.



Micah Ratzlaff paced Tabor with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Jeremiah Randall and Brad Gattis added 16, and Tyson Ratzlaff contributed 10.



With the win, Tabor improves its record to 6-7



Next action for Tabor will see KCAC foe Ottawa visit Hillsboro on Thursday night, with the women set to tip off at 6:00.
