Donna and Jerome Hajek of Marion and Hannah and Richard Kerschen of Wichita announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Kelli Hajek and Dennis Kerschen.
Grandparents of the couple are Doris Ewert of Marion and the late Harold Ewert; Mildred Hajek of Lost Springs and the late Albert Hajek; Rosella Maupin of Wichita and the late William Maupin; and the late Henry and Rose Kerschen.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Marion High School and earned a degree in interior design from Kansas State University. She is an interior designer with PBA Architects.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School in Wichita and earned a degree in construction science from K-State. He is a project manager at The Law Co.
The couple will be married May 17 at the Church of the Magdalen in Wichita.
