Alvin and Wilma (Voth) Schmidt of Walton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a hymn sing and reception at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Newton.
The Schmidts were married Dec. 20, 1952, at the Tabor church.
They have retired from diary farming and the Quilt Shop.
Family, friends and neighbors are invited to celebrate with the couple, and they request no gifts.
