Elma Fisher, 93

Elma Fisher, 93, former employee with Tip Top Dairy, died Dec. 5 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The funeral was Dec. 9 at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel with pastor Lyndon Decker officiating. Burial was at Durham Park Cemetery in rural Durham.

She was born June 8, 1909, to Jacob and Kathrine (Snell) Miller in rural Durham. On March 17, 1930, she was married to Dan Fisher, who predeceased her in 1953.

She is survived by one son, Larry Fisher and wife Judi of Salina; one sister, Hannah Ollenburger of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Parkside Homes and First Southern Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

Sarah Ens, 96

Sarah Ens, 96, died Nov. 16 in Ada, Okla.

The funeral was Nov. 19 at Union Hill Baptist Church with pastor James Stuart officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park in Ada.

She was born March 6, 1906, to Henry H. and Helena Flaming in Hitchcock, Okla. On Dec. 8, 1935, she was married to David D. Ens, who predeceased her in 1982.

She is survived by two sons, John Ens and wife Louise of Ada and Donald and wife Cheri of Stanley, N.Y.; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Ens of Lincoln Neb.; 22 grandchildren and 44 great-great grandchildren.

Bryan Kyle, 29

Bryan Richard Kyle, 29, employed in computer services for Oppenheimer Funds, died Nov. 27 in Denver.

The funeral was Nov. 30 at Garden Park Mennonite Church in Denver.

He was born July 10, 1973, to Richard and Joyce Kyle in Newton. On Sept. 15, 2001, he was married to Sharon Miller Kyle, who survives.

He is also survived by his parents of Hillsboro; one brother, Brent Kyle of New Haven, Conn.; one grandmother, Sue Kinkel of Phoenix, Ariz.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial has been established with Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection in Denver and with Garden Park Mennonite Church.
