Tabor defeats Central Christian 71-40

The Tabor Bluejays defeated the Central Christian Tigers 71-40 Monday night in Hillsboro in non-conference action. Stingy defense produced 20 steals for the second consecutive game and a dominating 44-24 advantage on the boards enabled Tabor to cruise to the victory. Tabor led 35-21 at the half and outscored the visitors by 17 in the second half for the win.



Casey Stucky once again led Tabor with 14, followed by Angela Kroeker and Rachelle Wertenberger with 11 and 10 respectively. Stucky and Erica Hemmert contributed 7 rebounds apiece for Tabor, which moved it’s record to 5-4 overall.



Tabor jumps back into KCAC action Thursday night with a double header with Bethany. Game time for the women is scheduled for 6:00 in Hillsboro.
