The Tabor women’s soccer team played in less than ideal conditions Saturday with a 12-match conference winning streak on the line.

The cold and the wind could not stop the Bluejays, though, as Chrissy Previtera put in a second-half goal for a 1-0 Tabor win over Southwestern.

The Bluejays, 7-6-0 overall, haven’t given up a goal yet this year in conference play.

Bethany-Tabor beat traditional conference contender Bethany Thursday, 3-0.

The game at Hillsboro featured goals by Becca Toews, Michelle Rink and Kathleen Stagg.

Toews, Rink, Stagg and Chrissy Previtera have dominated conference play so far this year. They account for 30 of the team’s 33 goals as well as 24 of the team’s 25 assists. All four are among the top seven points leaders for the conference.

Avila-The Bluejays picked up their second nonconference win of the season, defeating Avila College 2-1 after overcoming a 1-0 first-half deficit.
