Elmer and Lillian (Harms) Lypke of Marion will be celebrating their 61st anniversary with a family dinner on Oct. 19.
The couple were married Oct. 19, 1941, at Grace Hill Mennonite Church east of Newton.
Elmer farms in rural Marion and is semi retired. Lillian is an antique dealer.
Their children are Merle Lypke of Marion, Bob Lypke of Houston, and Marilyn Heier and husband Harold of Wichita.
The couple has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
