Rebecca Sue Wenger and Justin Aurel Overmiller were married Dec. 22 at Parkview Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Daryle Baltzer officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Mary Bitikofer of Canton, and Ron and Judy Wenger of Salina.
The groom is the son of Steve and Rhonda Overmiller of Smith Center.
Grandparents are Norman and Virginia Wenger of Moundridge; Goldie Unruh, and Leroy and Doris Bitikofer, all of Canton; Verne and Carol Overmiller, and Ray and Joyce Boyer, all of Smith Center; and the late James Unruh.
Maid of honor was Michelle Overmiller, sister of the groom. Best man was Eric Overmiller, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Wesley of Tulsa, Okla., and Kaley Overmiller, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Larissa and Kendra Selzer of Canton.
Groomsmen were Kelly Battese of Kansas City, and Tristan Graf of Marlow, Okla.
Ushers were Michael Penner of Kingman; Drew Overmiller of Weatherford, Texas; Daren Overmiller and Jereby Jacobs, both of Manhattan; and Troy Schenk of Chicago, Ill.
Guestbook attendants were Angela Hoops of Belleville, and Lori Jordan of Lawrence.
Program attendants were Emily Wedel of Hays, and Brittany Lyon of Smith Center.
Gift carriers were Emma Bitikofer of St. Louis, Cassandra Smith of Canton, Cari Tippin of Hillsboro, and Dannie Boucher of Smith Center.
Music was provided by Deb Jacobs and Brigette Lyon, both aunts of the groom.
The reception was held in the church activity center following the ceremony.
It was hosted by Dick and Norma Tippin of Hillsboro, and Dennis and Nita Lambert of Smith Center.
Reception servers were Autume Wadel of Greensburg, Angela Swenson of McPherson, Leah Morgan of Great Bend, and Jenny Hagen of Hillsboro.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Elyria Christian School and a 2002 graduate of Tabor College. She is a receptionist at St. Luke’s Pediatric Clinic in Overland Park.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Smith Center High School and a 2001 graduate of Tabor. He is a student at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City.
The rehearsal dinner was held in the fellowship hall at the church and hosted by the groom’s parents
The couple resides in Merriam.
