Friesen, Bechtold exchange vows

Adrianne Friesen and Sean Bechtold were married Aug. 17 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Bruce Porter officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Merle and Cora Friesen of Hillsboro.

The groom is the son of Dena Wilson of Dallas, Dave Cutcomb of Rockwell, Texas, Loree Bechtold of Newkirk, Okla., and the late William Kenneth Bechtold II.

Grandparents are Marvin and Marilyn Ratzlaff, Elmer and Leona Friesen, and Hilda Thiessen, all of Hillsboro; Irene Seibel of Harvey, N.D.; Eva Jo Bechtold of Ponca City, Okla.; Louise Wilson of Carlsbad, N.M.; and Roger and Phyllis Brillant of Ocala, Fla.

Maid of honor was Steffany Friesen.

Sharing the honor of best man were Michael Cross, William Kenneth Bechtold III and Mike Feltman.

Bridesmaids were Carmen Hein, Abby Jantz and Bailey Estelle. Junior bridesmaid was Brystal Kaiber. Flower girl was Chelsey Ratzlaff.

Groomsmen were Chris Fontes and Donald Cabler. Ring bearer was Cody Schellenberg.

Ushers were Casey Witt and Will Renfroe.

Candlelighters were Brittney Karber and Audrey Schellenberg.

Gift attendants were Barrett Karber and Jesse Schellenberg.

Guest book attendants were Natasha Pyle and Airily Roths.

Musicians were organist Julie Warkentin, and vocalists Jodi and Jesse Warkentin.

The reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Hosts were Craig and Tammy Ratzlaff.

Reception servers were Cleo Beth Friesen, LaVon Friesen, Kim Friesen, Danielle Friesen, Kerri Schmidt and Tesha Werth.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Hillsboro High School and is a senior at Tabor College.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Newkirk High School and also is a senior at Tabor.

The rehearsal dinner was held on Aug. 16 in the church chapel.

Following a honeymoon in Colorado, the couple resides in Hillsboro.
