Wade Gaeddert has joined the speciality-clinic staff at Hillsboro Community Medical Center

Gaeddert is board certified in otolaryngology-also called ear, nose and throat.

His professional interests and activities are endoscopic sinus surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, otolaryngic allergy and skin cancer of the face, ears and neck. His residency was at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.

Originally from central Kansas, Gaeddert is a graduate of Inman High School, Bethany College and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He has been in practice in McPherson for four years.

In his spare time, Gaeddert enjoys spending time with his family and participating in a variety of outdoor sports. Gaeddert is married and has three children.

“I am excited Dr. Gaeddert is joining our specialty staff,” said Michael Ryan, HCMC administrator and chief executive officer. “The addition of an ear, nose and throat specialist to Hillsboro and Marion County increases the services offered by local healthcare.

“It is one of my goals to bring specialty care within our community to help consumers avoid the inconvenience and unnecessary costs of travel.”

Gaeddert began seeing patients at HCMC Sept. 3. He is in the Hillsboro office on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Appointments may be made by calling 620-241-0917. Physician referrals are necessary.
