The Magathan family, new owners of the Daylight Donut shop in Hillsboro, have been delivering complimentary doughnuts to businesses in town. One sunny morning in late August, ambassadors of good will, (left to right) Sydney, Kai and Maia Magathan loaded their doughnut wagon with more than 12 boxes of a dozen doughnuts. Lucky recipients were Molly’s on Main Street, Baker Brothers Printing Co., Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and the Marion County Learning Center. “They’re happy when we drop them off,” Kai said.
