ANNIVERSARIES

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN
Sylvester and Alice Harms celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family on Aug. 3.

They were married Aug. 3, 1952, at Brudertal Mennonite Church in rural Hillsboro.

Two of their children with their families gathered with the Harmses at God’s Garden between Salina and Abilene for photos. Following the garden visit, the group had dinner at Brookville Restaurant in Abilene.

Joining the Harmses to celebrate were daughter Sheila Lyle and husband Sam and their children, Jeremy, Jennifer and Jamie of Parsons; and son John Harms and wife Paula and their son Jonathan of Leawood.

Family members planning to visit and celebrate the occasion at a later date are son Stephen Harms and wife Kathy of Tuscon, Ariz.; and grandchildren Stephanie and Matthew Harms, and Roxanne Baird and her husband, Kevin, and daughter Kaylea Anne, also of Tuscon.
