Benefit wash goes to the dogs

Steph Jensen of the Animal Health Clinic staff prepares to dry off Myrtle, a dog owned by Kara Bell of Marion, during the benefit dog wash held Saturday at the clinic. The event raised $211 in donations that will go toward dog food, medication and vaccine for the county’s two drug-detecting dogs: Jag of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and Rico of the Hillsboro Police Dept.
