>When the thermometer hit the mid-90s late last week for the first time this year, more than a few residents found refuge at the crystal waters of Hillsboro Municipal Pool. Tammy Flaming nestles son Camden, 19 months, close to her near the water’s edge May 31 while Camden’s cousin, Chelsea Flaming, 12, from Colorado, stays in the water to beat the heat. “The water isn’t as cold as I thought it would be,” Tammy Flaming said.
