Allen and Dorothy Pankratz of Hillsboro celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March with a trip to Colorado with their family.
The Pankratzes were married May 27, 1952, at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church near Hillsboro.
He is a farmer, and she is a homemaker and retired food-service worker for Tabor College in Hillsboro.
An anniversary dinner at Kingfisher Inn was hosted by their children, Lonnie and Barbara Thiessen of Wichita, Jerel and Serena Pankratz and Max and Krista Heinrichs, all of Hillsboro.
The couple has eight grandchildren.
