Raber signs to play for Tabor College basketball team

Erin Raber, Pampa, Texas, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Tabor College.

Raber, a 6-foot post and forward, was named most valuable player in the state of Texas for two years.

She was the National Homeschool Basketball Conference 1A Girls Most Valuable Player, State All Star and Pampa Academy Most Valuable Player four years in a row.

Raber led her team to become Texas Christian Athletic League State Champions for three years. The team ended the 2001-02 season with a 30-5 record.

As a National Merit Commended Scholar, Raber has received a Dean’s Scholarship to Tabor College.

“Erin had a very good high school career,” said Rusty Allen, head women’s basketball coach. “She is a solid Christian young woman, and we are fortunate to have her coming to Tabor.”
