Fast to join Tabor College Hall of Fame

Dennis Fast, pastor of Reedley (Calif.) Mennonite Brethren Church, will be inducted into the Tabor College Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday night at the spring athletic banquet.

During his time at Tabor, Fast was named “Athlete of the Year” for three consecutive years. He lettered in football and basketball for three years, and track for four years.

Conference honors included All-KCAC Basketball in 1971, and All-KCAC Track 1970 and 1971. He was the KCAC 100-yard dash champion in 1971.

He was also the intermediate hurdles champion in 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971, finishing each season undefeated in KCAC competition.

District honors included NAIA All-District 10 Track in 1970 and 1971, and All-America track honors in 1969.
