Tabor prof earns doctoral degree

Deborah Penner, assistant professor of English and chair of the English department at Tabor College, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on March 28, completing the final step in receiving a doctorate degree.

Penner’s dissertation was titled, “The Evolution of the Disruptive Female Voice in Renaissance Pastoral.”

Her doctoral work was completed through Indiana University of Pennsylvania, located in Indiana, Pa.
