Schmidt, Schmidt exchange vows

Jessica Dawn Schmidt and Benjamin Todd Schmidt were married Feb. 16 at Calvary Church in Moundridge with pastor Joe Swigart officiating the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Calvin and Dawna Schmidt of Moundridge, Larry and Cindy Stucky of McPherson and Terry and Debbie Schmidt of Overbrook.

Grandparents of the couple are H.R. and Geneva Siefker and Harvey and Mary Lou Schmidt, all of McPherson, Harold and Reva Goodwin of Burns, Freeman and Evelyn Miller of Hesston and Stella Unruh of Moundridge.

Matron of honor was Becky Keating, sister of the bride. Best man was Nick Schmidt, brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Jennie Doran of Blue Springs, Mo., and Meghann Greene, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Natalie and Kassidy Kaufman, nieces of the groom.

Groomsmen were Mark Boknecht of Lawrence and Sam Stucky, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Joel Greene, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Stuart Girk of Lawrence, Jeff Wedel of Moundridge and Dustin Stucky of Hutchinson.

Candlelighters were Tammy Zerger of Overbrook and Randall Schmidt, brother of the bride.

Musicians were DeLonna Barnett of Moundridge and Natalie Ralston of Lawrence.

The reception dinner and dance was held at the Red Coach Inn in McPherson. It was hosted by Steve and Steph Kaufman, sister and brother-in-law of the groom, and Tim Schmidt and Roxanne Tomlin, uncle and friend of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Moundridge High School and Lawrence Beauty Academy. The groom is a graduate of Moundridge High School and the University of Kansas. He is employed by KONE Inc. in Knoxville, Tenn.

The rehearsal dinner was held on Feb. 15 at Crosswind Conference Maybee Center in Hesston and hosted by the groom’s parents.

Following a Caribbean-cruise honeymoon, the couple resides in Knoxville.
