The Marion baseball team suffered two lopsided losses last Tuesday versus Council Grove.
The Warriors fell 10-4 in the first game and 11-0 in the final game.
In game No. 1, the Warriors gave up four first-inning runs, but battled back to pull within one, adding three runs of their own.
The Braves tacked on six more runs in the game while Marion only managed a single run that came in the fourth inning.
Pitcher Mitch Enos picked up the loss, surrendering seven earned runs.
Jason Matz went 2-for-3 swinging the stick and scored once in the Marion loss.
In their second game of the night, the Warriors struggled offensively and suffered their first shutout of the year.
Marion was held to just four hits in the game.
Robert Verbic, Jimmy Shipman, Enos and Matz each had one hit in the contest.
Coming-The Warriors are 1-5 overall and 1-3 in the CVL.
They were scheduled to play the Sacred Heart Knights in Salina on Tuesday, and will travel to Moundridge on Friday to battle the Wildcats.
