Woelks celebrate
50th anniversary
LeRoy and Marcella (Schmidt) Woelk of Goessel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 14, at Goessel Mennonite Church.
The Woelks were married on April 3, 1952, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in rural Goessel.
Marcella was employed at Bethesda Home in Goessel for 30 years. LeRoy is semi-retired after working at Kropf Lumber in Hesston for 19 years.
The event will be hosted by their children, Bryce and Kathy Woelk, Debbie and Harris Ewert and Kelvin Woelk. Grandchildren Amanda and Michael Woelk will also host the event.
The couple requests no gifts.
