After nine gut-check losses to Baker University in their first match of the year, the Tabor men’s tennis team got back on track versus Central Christian at home last Wednesday.
Tabor won all of its matches against McPherson, ending the afternoon with a 9-0 record.
The Bluejays No. 1 player, Ryan Camping, defeated McPherson’s Brad Elliot, 6-2, 6-2.
In No. 1 doubles, Camping teamed with Scott Friesen to defeat Darryl Elliot and Brad Elliot, 6-2, 6-2.
Former Hillsboro Trojans Michael Hagen and Jared Hefley won their first collegiate matches Wednesday. Hagen defeated Jordan Christopher, 6-0, 6-1, while Hefley defeated Steve Chaney, 6-1, 6-0.
The Tabor women enjoyed an 8-1 record versus Central Christian. Katherine Klepper defeated Jessie Lambdin, 6-4, 6-0 to win No. 1 singles.
The Bluejays traveled to Lindsborg on Tuesday to face Bethany and Sterling College.
