John and Elda Mellott will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 7, at Peabody Elementary School.
John is a farmer, and Elda is a homemaker in Peabody.
The event will be hosted by their children, Richard and Vickie Mellot and Esther and Jon Brooks, all of Peabody and Joan and Jerry Jost of Hillsboro.
The couple requests no gifts. If friends are not able to attend, cards may be sent to 1450 U.S. Highway 50, Peabody, KS 66866.
