Tabor slips past first round

The Tabor men held off the Bethany College Swedes Thursday night with a strong second half for a 59-56 victory.



The Bluejays were down 54-52 when Scott Brubacher nailed a 3-pointer to give Tabor a one-point advantage.



From that point the Bluejays hit their free throws and earned a second-round appearance in the KCAC tourney.



Tyson Ratzlaff and Ernest Nortey had 16 and 14 respectively in the win. Brubacher added 12 points.



Tabor hosts Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
