McPherson defeats Tabor in KCAC tourney

The McPherson Bulldogs handed the Tabor College women’s basketball team a one-way ticket out of the KCAC tournament Wednesday night in McPherson with a 94-65 win.



The Bulldogs shot 53.1 percent from the field and 48 percent from beyond the 3-point arc including 12 treys for the game.



Tabor’s Angela Kroeker led the Bluejays in scoring with 16 points. Becky Jons had her fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.



The Bluejays end their season with an overall record of 13-16.



McPherson will face Sterling College Saturday at 2 p.m.
