Tonya Chelon Keim of Hesston and Ryan Douglas Bartel of Hillsboro were married Dec. 28 at Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston. Pastor Howard Keim, father of the bride, and pastors Merv Birky and Wayne Keim, uncles of the bride, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Howard and Tami Keim of Hesston. The groom is the son of Doug and Pam Bartel of Hillsboro.
The bride and groom were escorted by their parents.
Maid of honor was Talashia Keim of Hesston. Best man was Mike Klein of Hillsboro.
Attendants were Erin Bartel, Kelsey Bartel, Kyle Bartel and Chad Duerksen, all of Hillsboro; Ben Anderson and Katie Anderson, both of Hesston; Cale Renollet of Newton; Lisa Yoder of Manhattan; Teri Banman of Lenexa; Eric Schrag of Ritzville, Wash.; Kara Birky of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Marcus King of Wichita; Kerry Lynn Friesen of Los Angeles; and Brett Klingenberg of Peabody.
Brides personal attendant was Lisa Allison of Colorado Springs. Coordinator was Cindy Loucks of Hesston. Guest book attendant was Gretchen Schrag of Ritzville, Wash. Gift attendant was Ana Loucks of Hesston.
Musicians were Jason Peters, Steve Miller and Dave Anderson, all of Hesston; Brian and Lisa Keim of Pigeon, Mich.; Karenza Kroeker of Chouteau, Okla.; and Patrick Buller and Daniel Yoder, both of Hillsboro.
Candle lighters were Shelese Stucky of Los Angeles, and Sharon DeBliek-Anderson of Hesston.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance was held in Memorial Hall at Bethel College. Hosts were Merv and Betty Ann Bontrager of Hesston and Brad and Rita Bartel of Hillsboro.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Hesston High School and a 2001 graduate of Bethel College. She is an admissions counselor at Bethel College.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Hillsboro High School and is attending Bethel College. He is employed at Dillons and Hesston Childcare.
The rehearsal dinner was held Dec. 27 in the Whitestone Mennonite Church Community Room. The dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents and catered by Cheryl Jost of Hillsboro.
Following a honeymoon in Kansas City, the couple resides in Hesston.
