Ratzloff, Brock celebrate marriage

Karletta Ratzloff and Mark Brock were married Dec. 31 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with pastor Tim Kliewer officiating the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Shirley Ratzloff of Peabody, and granddaughter of Marie Jost of Hillsboro. The groom is the son of Kenneth “Fred” Brock of Halstead and the late Ruth Brock.

Maid of honor was Melissa Tennyson of Newton. Best man was Christopher Brock of Newton.

Bridesmaid was Sally Keen of Bedford, England. Flower girls were Courtney Spreier and Brianna Gouvion, both of Newton.

Groomsman was Hubert Piland of Lehigh.

Ushers were Jeremy Janzen and Troy Spreier, both of Newton.

Gift carriers were Cameron Spreier of Newton, and Joshua Grant of Hesston.

Musicians were pianist Monica Spreier and soloist Donita Gouvion, both of Newton.

The bride wore a beaded long-sleeved sheath gown with a detachable train and a waist-length veil. The bride’s silk-flower bouquet was made of white and red roses.

The reception followed the ceremony at the church and was hosted by Hubert and Ronda Piland of Lehigh.

Reception assistants were Sharolyn Funk of Hillsboro, Cherie Grant of Hesston, and Jerry and Jan Rogers of Newton.

The bride attended Peabody High School and Sidney’s Hairdressing College. She works in the fabrication department of AGCO-Hesston.

The groom attended Halstead High School and also works in the fabrication department at AGCO.

The rehearsal dinner was held Dec. 29 and was hosted by the bride’s parents.

Following a limousine ride to honeymoon at the Old Town Hotel in Wichita, the couple resides in Newton.
