Steph Wittman’s 25 points proved to be too much for the Warrior girls Friday night at home in a 55-47 loss to Sacred Heart.

The Warriors trailed the entire game, and threatened to take the lead mid-way through the third quarter.

But the Knights took care of the ball and made their shots when they counted to hand the Warriors their second CVL loss of the year.

Marion’s Krista Zogelman had 19 points to lead the Warrior offensive attack.

The Marion girls are 8-8 overall and 4-2 in the CVL.
