Tabor splits games against McPherson

The Tabor womens’ basketball team fell to McPherson College Saturday night 69-59 despite a late-game rally by the Jays.



The Bluejays shot just 25.8 percent from the field in the first half and 33.3 percent for the game.



Tabor’s Rachelle Speers dumped in 21 points in the Bluejay loss. Angela Kroeker added 14.

The Tabor men’s basketball team continued their KCAC dominance with a 67-54 win over the McPherson College Bulldogs.



The Bluejays shot 50 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from behind the 3-point line in the win.



Tabor’s Scott Brubacher had 14 points and two assists to lead the Bluejay offensive attack. Ernest Nortey added 12 points.



The men and women will be back in action Thursday night against Friends University at home.
