The Hillsboro Police Department has filed 23 separate cases with the Marion County attorney’s office relating to burglary cases in Hillsboro, according to Police Chief Dan Kinning.

Twenty-one of the charges are for burglary to a motor vehicle, and the other two charges are burglary to a structure. Also included are several theft and criminal-damage-to-property charges.

These incidents stem from several burglaries committed the first weekend of November and the first weekend of December of 2001.

The complaints allege that these crimes were committed by three area juveniles.
