Marion loses in first-round against Medicine Lodge, 58-48

Kirk Inslee’s 28 points help the Medicine Lodge Indians send the Marion boys’ basktetball team to the loser bracket with a 58-48 loss Tuesday night at the Hillsboro Trojan Classic.



The Warriors and Indians battled in the first three quarters, until Medicine Lodge took control of the game in the final quarter.



Marion’s Robert Verbic had 11 points while Tyler Stubenhofer added 10 in the losing cause.



The Warriors will play the loser of the Belleville/Smoky Valley game Thursday night at 6 p.m.
