Donald Unruh, 77




Donald R. Unruh, 77, retired automotive technology teacher, died Dec. 29 at his residence in Findlay, Ohio.


The funeral was at Routson Funeral Chapel in Findlay with pastors Dorothy Nickel Friesen and Douglas Luginbill officiating. Burial was at Knollcrest Gardens in Findlay.


He was born Oct. 28, 1924, to Edward H. and Martha Reisen Unruh in rural Hillsboro. On June 25, 1949, he married Martha F. Cogley, who survives.


He is also survived by two daughters, Regina Unruh-Talmage of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Brenda Breidigan of Findlay; five brothers, Oliver Unruh of Hillsboro, James Unruh of Lodi, Calif., Earl Unruh of Kansas City, Mo., Floyd Unruh of St. Paul Minn., and Kenneth Unruh of Winton, Calif; and four grandchildren.


A memorial was established with First Mennonite Church and Bridge Home Health and Hospice, both of Findlay.
