Tabor men and women fall to opponents in TC Classic

The Tabor College women’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a tough Peru State team in a 56-44 loss to the Bobcats.



The Bluejays trailed at half by 10 and never got within more than five of the Bobcats in the game.



Rachelle Speers led all Bluejays with 15 points, six rebounds and four steals.



The Tabor College men’s basketball team met up with a rough-and-tough Langston team Saturday night in a 66-55 loss to the Lions.



The Bluejays shot 28 percent from the field in the 11-point loss.



Jimmy Janzen led the scoring attack with 13 points for the Bluejays.



Both teams will host Sterling College Thursday night.
