DEATHS: Almeda Cornelsen, 87

Almeda Rosella Cornelsen, 87, retired business woman and bookkeeper, died Nov. 16 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, Calif.



Memorial services were held at Turlock Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.



She was born Sept. 4, 1914, in Tampa.



She and her husband, Raymond Cornelsen, owned an insurance and real estate business in Hillsboro and were active in the Hillsboro community. He predeceased her in 1996.



She is survived by three sons, Rodean Cornelsen of Las Vegas, Nev., Ronald Cornelsen of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Rodney Cornelsen of Modesto, Calif.; two daughters, Rae Meda Janzen of Pebble Beach, Calif., and Roetta Shaffer of Port Byron, Ill.; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.



A memorial has been established with the Seventh-day Adventist Church building fund, 2400 N. Olive Ave., Turlock, CA, 95382.
