Tabor goes 1-1 at Bethany Saturday

The Tabor men’s basketball team dodged a bullet Saturday night at Bethany escaping with a 74-72 win over the Swedes.



The Bluejays fouled Bethany’s Charlie Mercado with no time left on the clock, putting the Swede on the line with the chance to tie the game up. Unfortunately for Bethany, Mercado missed his first free throw preserving the Tabor win.



Tyson Ratzlaff paced the Bluejays with 16 points and 10 rebounds.



The Bluejay men are 3-1 in the KCAC.



The Tabor College women’s team ran into a talented Bethany College team Saturday and fell to the Swedes 78-53.



Carmen Hein, Rachelle Speers and Becky Jons each had 11 points in the losing effort.



The Bluejays are 2-2 in the KCAC.
