Jimmy Janzen came up big down the stretch for the Bluejays as Tabor escaped with a 58-55 win over Friends at Wichita on Thursday night.
Janzen was 4-of-4 on 3-point shots and finished with a team-high 17 points. Tyson Ratzlaff added 11.
With the win, Tabor moves to 4-5 on the season and 2-1 in KCAC play.
The women, meanwhile, got another solid offensive performance from Rachelle Speers and Angela Kroeker, but it was the defense that made the difference in a 52-41 win over the Falcons.
Speers led the Jays with 12 points and Kroeker added 11.
With the win, Tabor is 6-5 on the season and 2-1 in the KCAC.
