Tabor women drop KCAC opener

The Tabor College women’s basketball team was out-rebounded and out-manned Thursday night in their KCAC loss to Southwestern College.



The Bluejays fell to the Moundbuilders 65-52 for their first KCAC loss of the season.



Southwestern controlled much of the game, going on a 12-2 run in the early minutes of the game.



Tabor battled back to go ahead 27-19 before Southwestern went up 28-27 before halftime.



The Moundbuilders put together a quick 9-0 run early in the second half, and Bluejays were unable to catch Southwestern.



Tabor is 0-1 in the KCAC and will face McPherson College Saturday in Hillsboro.
